RMU Postdoc Career Weeks 2025 – Register now!
From 23 June to 4 July 2025, the Postdoc Career Weeks 2025 of the Rhine-Main Universities (RMU) will take place.
Almost all events will be in English, few in German.
Most events take place online. Some are organized on campus in Darmstadt.
Throughout the two weeks, doctoral candidates and postdocs will have the opportunity to get information on career paths, learn from established researchers, improve competencies, and form networks.

Please note: Some workshops have a limited number of participants and require early registration. The respective university quotas are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Who can participate?
The RMU Postdoc Career Weeks are designed specifically for early career researchers in the doctoral phase (R1), the postdoctoral phase (R2), and the qualification phase for a professorship or equivalent (R3) from the Rhine-Main Universities (RMU): Goethe University Frankfurt, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Technical University of Darmstadt.
We also invite early career researchers from RMU’s European partner alliances UNITE and FORTHEM as well as from other research institutions, who are interested in research and career opportunities at the RMU, to participate.
Acceptance to events is contingent upon a limited number of available slots
This year's RMU Postdoc Career Weeks are being organized by TU.
About the event series
The TU, Goethe University Frankfurt and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz have joined together to form the strategic RMU. With around 98,000 students and over 1,500 professors, they work closely in research, study and teaching. As world-renowned institutions, they shape Rhine-Main region as an internationally attractive and globally visible academic hub.
The RMU Postdoc Career Weeks take place once a year in close co-operation between the three universities.
Next year, presumably the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz will organize the RMU Postdoc Career Weeks.
