Science Communication Centre
True to this motto, we want to strengthen the university through our work. With the support of our alumni, society, the city and politics, we can initiate projects that create added value for everyone involved.
The Deutschlandstipendium is a matter close to our hearts: a programme that supports students every year in mastering their everyday university life by giving them the financial freedom to concentrate on their studies. However, we have also been able to facilitate other projects in recent years. For example, we supported students in need during the pandemic through the Corona Fund that we set up. The restoration of the castle moat was also made possible by numerous donations.
The university keeps moving forward – and so dose our work. Our university is constantly facing new challenges. Which we master with our “friends”, our numerous supporters, without whom the aforementioned projects would not have been possible.
Take a look around our website and see for yourself. And if you now feel like taking part in our projects, we sincerely invite you to do so – after all, it could be unforgettable!
… they would be: kind, uncomplicated and motivated.
We are a small team – each with our own specialisms, yet closely interlinked. Because we love what we do. We want to do good! We put our heart and soul into our university every day – whether it's helping students in need, planting trees, improving long-term educational opportunities for young talents, building bridges between society and the university, etc…
We have many ideas, some are discarded, some ideas take a long time to flourish, sometimes projects develop quickly and spontaneously – but they all have one thing in common: we need YOU as a supporter. Because we can't achieve much on our own. So if you want to get involved and join us on our journey to advance science, increase educational opportunities for all or fight for the campus in the heart of Darmstadt – get in touch with us. We will (almost) always find a way – together with you!
Yours sincerely, Claudia Huck, Nadine Darwich and Julia Löw
