At the end of TU Darmstadt’s two-year CLUSTER Presidency, TU President Professor Tanja Brühl reflected positively on the presidency: “We succeeded in integrating students into the network to a greater extent with the foundation of the CLUSTER Student Organisation. I am convinced that their ideas will bring new impetus to the cooperation. Ultimately, students should continue to benefit from the CLUSTER to a great extent, whether in the form of dual degree programmes, summer schools or traditional student exchange opportunities.” Other main focuses of TU Darmstadt’s CLUSTER Presidency were the initiative to found the European Universities, from which the UNITE! alliance (University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering) emerged, and the establishment of an Erasmus coordination network.

The CLUSTER Team headed by TU President Tanja Brühl included Dr. Jana Freihöfer as CLUSTER Secretary General and Dr. Andreas Winkler as CLUSTER Coordinator.
