From workshops to networking opportunities, we offer a diverse programme to support your academic and personal development. This includes monthly events such as 'WritingTime' and 'Meet your Peers!' as well as a range of different workshops. You can find a detailed overview in our events calendar .

WritingTime for Doctoral Candidates

Doctoral students in the fields of energy and the environment are warmly invited to work on their writing projects in a productive environment every first Friday of the month. Whether you are working on your dissertation or preparing articles, you will find the peace and quiet you need to concentrate on your writing and work.

Every first Friday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Meet your Peers! - Exchange with changing topics

‘Meet your Peers!’ is the perfect opportunity to be inspired, gain new perspectives and strengthen your network within the graduate school. Whether it's about scientific content or how to deal with the challenges of interdisciplinary teams – here you will find inspiration, expertise and practical insights.

Every third Thursday of the month from 1:00–2:00 p.m.

Our diverse qualification courses are open to everyone – both members and non-members of our graduate school. However, as a member, you will enjoy exclusive benefits: you can take advantage of individualised advice tailored to your needs and professional goals, as well as take part in exciting excursions. Furthermore, you are welcome to participate in additional exclusive workshops that offer valuable insights into research and practice. And last but not least, we invite you to get actively involved and help us shape the E+E community.

Take advantage of this opportunity and become a member of the E+E Graduate School. Membership is free of charge.

The prerequisite for membership is a doctoral project or an ongoing doctoral procedure (e.g. an industrial doctorate) at TU Darmstadt in the fields of energy and the environment. The Graduate School does not offer doctoral positions.
