Ingenium invites young investigators and postdocs of TU Darmstadt, Goethe University Frankfurt and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz to the

2nd Young Investigator Appreciation Day!

With this event we want to:

  • honour your excellent work,
  • welcome the Athene Young Investigators (AYI), appointed to the AYI Programme of TU Darmstadt in 2024,
  • offer you a platform to establish networks with other young investigators and postdocs of different research disciplines of TU Darmstadt, Goethe University Frankfurt and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and,
  • exchange on what is needed to effectively communicate scientific knowledge to the public. We welcome as guests Prof. Dr. Nina Janich (German Studies and Applied Linguistics at the TUDa), expert in science communication research, TUDa’s Chief Communication Officer Dr. Patrick Honecker, and two well known journalists by profession with expertise in communicating scientific results through different types of media, Mr Johannes Geiger (Deputy Chief Editor of Terra X and MAITHINK X, ZDF) and Ms Judith Kösters (Editor of thematic team “Climate”, HR and ARD).

Who can participate?

The event is open for all established researchers (R3) and postdoctoral researchers (R2) of all research disciplines of the Rhine-Main Universities being interested in an academic career.
