Eventmarketing

As part of identity management within the Science Communication Centre (SCC), the Event Marketing team designs central, high-profile event concepts and formats on behalf of the Presidential Board, taking into account the holistic brand and communication strategy of TU Darmstadt, and is responsible for their implementation. The task of event marketing is to offer scientific stakeholders a suitable platform for target group-oriented, interactive dialog via visibility and reach, as well as to reach target and stakeholder groups via relevant event formats. Event marketing goes beyond the mere communication of information and science to a specialist audience and is also aimed at the general public, students, teaching staff and employees as well as network and cooperation partners, donors and supporters.

Our event formats

Our offer for TU members

Due to the complexity of events, usually accompanied by a high level of coordination, they require a methodical and systematic approach based on project management. The following project phases can be distinguished:

  • The planning phase is the prelude to the idea, concept and feasibility check, right through to the clear (work) assignment.
  • The implementation phase, which includes guest management, management of external and internal project participants, process planning and the actual event.
  • The follow-up phase includes follow-up and lessons learned and the actual project completion.

In addition to the organization and implementation of one-off, variably timed central events, the Event Marketing team is also responsible for recurring presidential events.

Central events with regular dates and an outlook on the next upcoming event date (if already known) can be found in the following overview:
