Follow-up of the application / status request
You can find out the current status of your application at any time via TUCaN.
Explanations of the processing statuses for online applications .
Step 1
If you want to find out about your current application status, you can track it in your application view via the menu item My application in the column Status.

You can see an explanation of the different processing statuses here .
You can find the application number (BW-XXXX) for each application via the action View in the paragraph Application status together with the current processing status.
You will receive a notification of your application at the earliest:
- NC-free, 1st semester – at the earliest 4 weeks after receipt of the application at the TU Darmstadt.
- NC-free, higher semester – at the earliest 6 weeks after receipt of application at the TU Darmstadt
- NC, 1st semester – as of the end of July
- NC, higher semester – September (WiSe), March (SoSe) at the earliest
- Aptitude test procedure – 6 – 8 weeks after receipt of application at the TU Darmstadt at the earliest
- Master's applications – at the earliest 6 – 8 weeks after receipt of the application by the TU Darmstadt
