Are you a student passionate about innovation, technology, and building connections? This is your chance to attend leading conferences connecting female researchers in computer science and engineering – we cover the expenses!
With the Female Student Travel Award, the collaborative research centre CROSSING, the LOEWE centre emergenCITY, the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (hessian.AI), and the Cluster of Excellence Reasonable AI (RAI) recognize exceptionally well performing female students of all subjects connected to the topics of the awarding projects. The award winners can attend one of the following conferences, which are focused on connecting female computer science and engineering researchers, to take advantage of the excellent networking opportunities during these events.
Each winner can freely choose from one of the following conferences:
· Informatica Feminale and Ingenieurinnen-Sommeruni
· Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing
· Women Engineers (WE) Conference
· or a scientific conference in the field of the chosen project

- Funded travel: Travel to and attend a conference: We will cover your travel expenses to one of the listed conferences, including train or plane tickets, accommodation, entrance fees, etc., per the travel expense guidelines of TU Darmstadt and the funding body of the chosen project.

We invite female students with excellent academic performance from any field of study touching on the topics covered by the participating research centres and schools to apply. Please send us…

- a description of your connection to and/or interest in the field of research of CROSSING, emergenCITY, hessian.AI, or RAI
- Optionally, you can indicate which conference you want to attend in your application. The choice does not influence the selection of the winners.
The call is open for advanced female bachelor's and all female master's students at TU Darmstadt. Please refer to the websites of the participating research centres for additional details.
