About me

Hello, my name is Ravan and I study civil engineering. Even though the study program was challenging for me from time to time, I took home several senses of achievement that helped me to develop personally. With a lot of patience, discipline and ambition, I finally learned the right way of studying. Originally, my plan was to graduate much earlier until I learned something important: If something doesn't go according to plan, you don't know the plan.

Ravan,
M.Sc. Civil Engineering

The digital events made me realize that I can concentrate better when lectures and exercises take place digitally. A very good option for students who like to study alone.

M.Sc. Civil Engineering

Why I chose TU Darmstadt:

Since I want to complete a technically oriented degree, TU Darmstadt turned out to be the best. In addition, Darmstadt is not very far from the city in which my family lives.

What thrills me about Darmstadt:

Darmstadt consists of many young students. In general, the atmosphere here is relaxed. Since the city is not that big, you quickly meet new people of all ages. Darmstadt offers many opportunities for sporting activities and even though there is no river flowing, the city offers beautiful forest areas. It is also very close to Frankfurt. For people who don't necessarily want to live in Frankfurt, but who like to be there, Darmstadt is a very good place to be.

Fun fact about me:

To be honest, I am gifted with language and art, which is why it was very difficult to get through in a technical area at the beginning. The nice thing about this realization: it was worth taking this step anyways.

My favorite motto:

Life throws you the same challenge over and over again until you learn the lesson and blossom.
