Underwater rugby is a fast, fascinating ball game that is played in the deep part of a swimming pool (diving pool) with snorkelling equipment.

The aim of the game is to get the ball filled with salt water into a goal at the bottom. The ball may be taken ‘by force’ from the player with the ball. However, contrary to what this rule and the name might suggest, the focus of the only ball sport with a three-dimensional playing field is not on strength and scrambling, but on coordination, wit, quick and precise passes (yes, the ball is thrown underwater) and, last but not least, effective movement underwater. Why is that so? Come by and we'll be happy to explain.
