The Learning Agreement

The learning agreement contains the study programme of a student at the host university. It has to be filled in by the student and signed and stamped by the home university as well as by the host university.

During your stay you will have the possibility to modify your learning agreement. In order to make sure that your study plans work out and that the chosen courses are compatible with each other, you are asked to contact your Departmental Coordinator (opens in new tab) once you are in Darmstadt.

If you plan to take courses from other departments and you need to obtain credits there as well, you have to contact your departmental coordinator (of the department in which you are enrolled) as well as the departmental coordinator of the department you also want to participate in courses. Please contact both departmental coordinators as soon as you are in Darmstadt.

You can find a list of all lectures at TU Darmstadt in the central course catalogue (Vorlesungsverzeichnis). If you need to know in advance which lectures you can attend during your stay at TU Darmstadt (e.g. for your learning agreement), you may refer to a prior course schedule. Most lectures are held in an annual cycle and generally there are just a few changes each year.

For further information about lectures, credit points (ECTS) and related topics you can also refer to the students' office (Studienbüro) at your department. The module manuals of TU Darmstadt's study programmes also contain valuable information on lectures and course content. You can find the module manuals on the website of the corresponding department.
