Memristor materials for neuromorphics

A memristor is an only recently established fourth passive circuit element (besides resistor, inductor and capacitor). A memristor remembers its resistive state, and this state can be altered by an applied current. Memristors can be used for energy efficient memory and neuromorphic computation. There are various choices of design and material to realize a memristor. Our group has sevral ongoing projects aiming at the development of memristors. The specific task can be adjusted to preferences and exisiting knowledge/skills from modelling to device synthesis and characterization.

The project can be adapted to previous skills.
