Which documents are required?

The documents to be submitted depend on your university entrance eligibility, the chosen degree programme and the underlying application procedure.

You will receive an individual checklist in your online application, which lists the required documents. In some cases, the electronic application is sufficient, no application form is generated and the documents are only requested in case of admission.

For later enrolment the following documents are always required:

  • University entrance eligibility (certified copy)
  • ID-card / passport (copy)
  • Power of attorney, if applicable: If it is not possible for you to process your enrolment by yourself, e.g. due to a stay abroad, you can issue a power of attorney (opens in new tab) to another person.

If you have studied before, your transcript of records and clearance certificate (Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung) must also be submitted.
