About me

¡Hola, my name is Diego and I’m studying mechatronics at TU Darmstadt. I came here from my hometown Caracas, Venezuela to southern Hesse specifically because of TU Darmstadt's reputation as a top university, and I feel very comfortable here. And I can already say: I can definitely imagine staying in Darmstadt after I graduate!

Diego,
B.Sc. Mechatronics

What I like about Darmstadt is that it's not a metropolis, but rather a science city where everything is within 15 minutes cycling distance.

IB Diploma

Why I chose TU Darmstadt:

Because of the excellent reputation (especially in engineering) that TU Darmstadt has, not only throughout Germany, but worldwide.

What I like about Darmstadt:

What I like about Darmstadt is that it's not a metropolis, but rather a science city where everything is reachable within 15 minutes cycling distance.

The suburbs are very quiet and have many green areas. And if you do want to go into a bigger city, cities like Frankfurt, Mannheim, Mainz and Wiesbaden are very easy to reach by train.

Fun Fact about me:

I am constantly trying to automate everyday things with microcontrollers.

Mein favourite motto:

„Sapere aude“
