What I like about Darmstadt:
The location, the green areas for example the Ludwigshöhe and its cultural scene.
How I manage my studies and my job:
I set priorities. I use a calender and try to stick to it. Of course sometimes I sacrifice things I want to do, but as I said, for me is setting priorities essential.
What are the challenges that I face in my studies:
To study abroad is very challenging. I would say every single day is a challenge because I am in a different environment. The academic pressure, the bureaucracy, loneliness, mental health, weather and the finantial situation. I know, it sounds awful but it is not. I learned and I am still learnig how to deal with with every problem I have. Key is to be very open minded to have an easy and fluent adaptation to the way things work out here in Darmstadt. With good attitude and good friends I overcame most of my challenges in my studies. Remember, you are not the only one with that problem!
Fun fact about me:
My surname is „Alemán “which is Spanish for „German “.
Three words that describe me:

Which places in Darmstadt I´ve always wanted to visit, but still haven’t:
Because of the pictures and what it represents I always wanted to visit the Jagdschloss Kranichstein. I also wanted to go on top of the Ludwigsmonument at Luisenplatz.
My best moment at TU Darmstadt:
I would have to say it is when I finished my Bachelors. I came to this country with that goal, It seemed a long way but after a lot of dedication finally I did it and I was very happy.
