To have dreams in life is very important, but it is no good to get lost in them and forget to live.

A-Levels in Stuttgart

Why I study at TU Darmstadt:

The TU Darmstadt is one of the best universities in Germany for my study programme. Because of the location in the Rhine-Main area and the opportunity to gain work experience by joining university groups or doing internships, studying at the TU offers the perfect basis for your future career.

What I like about Darmstadt:

Darmstadt is surrounded by woods and fields, it has numerous parks where you can take a walk and relax, however the city-life is not neglected – the perfect combination. Furthermore, what fascinates me about Darmstadt is how lively the city is, due to the fact that almost a third of the residents are students.

Fun fact about myself:

I have a habit of starting to read several book series at the same time, which often results in me not finishing books and having to re-read them from the beginning.

My favorite motto is:

It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, what’s important is, that you don’t forget to get up again afterwards.

What makes me happy:

To spend my time with people who are important to me, but also the little things in life, like sunsets, scented candles, the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the morning or a good book with a cup of tea or hot chocolate make me happy.

What I would tell my younger self:

Don’t bury your head in the sand just because something isn’t working the way you wanted it to. Always try to make the best of it.
