Fulbright-Programm

The German-American Fulbright Commission (Fulbright Germany) implements the idea of US Senator J. William Fulbright to promote international understanding and support the transatlantic dialogue.

Academic exchange enables the realisation of these goals. Therefore, Fulbright Germany provides various scholarships for study, teaching, research and further education in the USA every year. Students and researchers at TU Darmstadt can apply for funding. There are various available offers. In addition to experiencing first-class research and teaching through study and research scholarships, complete programmes are also offered and sponsorship prizes are awarded. In addition to the study and research programme, the focus lies on the contact with the host country. This way, social and intercultural skills are developed in addition to the academic qualifications.

Some of the repeatedly offered scholarships are presented here. For further programmes as well as application requirements and documents, please see the announcements on the Fulbright Germany website.

Application deadline: 25 August 2024
