Unite! students take the lead

The ESA 2025 will return to the EU Parliament from May 26 to 28, bringing together over 250 students from the European University Alliances. Eda Ceren Tuncer from TU Darmstadt was also present.

Second round of the Unite! Visiting Professorship begins

In the 2025/2026 winter semester, TU Darmstadt will welcome Unite! visiting professors for the second time. A total of 13 experienced postdocs from six Unite! universities are participating in the Unite! Visiting Professorship and will complement teaching and research at TU Darmstadt in eight departments for at least one semester.

Study Abroad Information Fair May 7 at Karo5

On May 7, 2025, the International Office will host this year's Go Out Country Fair, featuring an International Partner Day. Assessment is a cornerstone of teaching and learning. The Unite! European University Alliance invites all teaching faculty across its nine partner universities to take part in the Unite! Educator Questionnaire: Assessment Practices—a key initiative aimed at understanding and improving assessment strategies in higher education.

The International Student Services Team announces that nominations for the DAAD Prize 2025 are now open. Until May 15th, professors and staff can propose outstanding international students and doctoral candidates. This prestigious award, which comes with a €1000 endowment, acknowledges excellent academic achievements and exceptional commitment.

On April the 8th you can meet with researchers from the Unite! universities who will tell you about their doctoral studies, what made them decide to pursue a PhD, what it is like to be a researcher and what opportunities might open up for you after your doctoral studies.

Seed Fund Initiative

The Cities in Times of Drought or Abundance project, funded by Unite! Seed Fund and led by UPC, aims to create a joint academic course exploring architectural and urban solutions to mitigate climate impacts.

Time to Put Inclusion into Action

After three years of dedicated collaboration, the IDEM project has come to a successful close. Funded from 2022 to January 2025, IDEM brought together five Unite! universities – TU Darmstadt (coordinator), UPC Barcelona, Aalto University, Universidade de Lisboa, and Grenoble INP-UGA – with Politecnico di Torino as an associate partner. Their shared mission: to make student mobility more inclusive and equitable.
