In the middle of society
An inviting university
The Technische Universität has been deeply rooted in the City of Science Darmstadt and intensively networked in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region – for over 140 years. It enriches society on many levels – attracting people from around the world to study and research, always open to dialogue, sharing its knowledge and insights, stimulating and leading debates and launching initiatives. TU Darmstadt invites you through many avenues to visit, make use of its facilities and keep your curiosity alive.
“The university shapes the cityscape, lending it its identity and flair. And with the botanical garden, the Hochschulbad or the Schlossgraben, which we make accessible to the citizens, we open up attractive places for the urban population.”
President Hans Jürgen Prömel
