Modeling for Policy

Decisions are increasingly being made in various contexts based on models (e.g., in clinics, companies, administrations, and government agencies). How does this shift influence the decisions being made? And how do the models themselves change when they are developed for decision-making purposes rather than primarily for scientific aims?

Projects are welcome in any of the mentioned fields.
