Application to TU Darmstadt for Erasmus Students

Your next step is the online application at TU Darmstadt.

Please follow the steps below in order to apply.

1. Fill in the online application and upload all requested documents.

2. Fill in TU Darmstadt’s nomination sheet and have it signed and stamped by the responsible coordinator of your home university.

3. The completed, stamped and signed nomination sheet has to be sent to us via email (europe-incomings@pvw.tu-darmstadt.de) by the responsible coordinator of your home university.

Application Deadlines

  • 30 April for the following winter semester
  • 30 November for the following summer semester

The following documents have to be uploaded within the online application. Without these documents your application is incomplete and cannot be considered.

Learning Agreement

The learning agreement contains the study programme of a student at the host university. It has to be filled in by the student and signed and stamped by the home university as well as by the host university.

You can find a list of all lectures at TU Darmstadt in the course catalogue (Vorlesungsverzeichnis). For further information about lectures, credit points (ECTS) and related topics you can also refer to the students' office (Studienbüro) at your department.

Transcript of Records

You can obtain this document from your home university. It should include all the courses you took at the university and the corresponding grades.

Proof of your German Knowledge

Your German language skills have to be at least level A2 (CEFR). Please attach a signed and stamped corresponding document to your application. Generally, most universities or language institutes offer appropriate language courses and are going to issue the A2 certificate. However, we suggest you improve your German skills even further in order to benefit as much as possible from your stay at TU Darmstadt.If you are participating in a programme which is not promoted by Erasmus+, you do not have to submit a language certificate.
