Landesprogramme Hessen:Massachusetts und Hessen:Wisconsin an der JLU Gießen

Nach langer pandemiebedingter Pause und vielen virtuellen Treffen konnte in diesem Jahr das jährliche Pre-Departure Meeting der USA-Landesprogramme zum zweiten Mal wieder in Präsenz stattfinden.

Die Southern Cross University feiert ihr 30-jähriges Bestehen! Zusammen mit der SCU werden daher ab dem 13. März 2024 30 Vollstipendien für ein Auslandssemester in Australien vergeben.

Eine Delegation von Vertreter:innen aus den ASEAN Staaten Indonesien, Kambodscha, Malaysia, Philippinen, Singapur, Thailand und Vietnam besuchte am 26. Juli 2023 die TU Darmstadt.

Am 26.05. begrüßten Präsidentin Brühl und Professor Walther, Vizepräsident für Innovation und Internationales, den Präsidenten der University of Texas at San Antonio, Prof. Taylor Eighmy, PhD sowie eine Delegation der UTSA. Es war der erste Besuch des Präsidenten seit Beginn der Kooperation 2017.

10. Mai 2023 – International Day zum Auslandsstudium im Karo5

Am 10. Mai 2023 veranstaltet das Dezernat Internationales wieder in Präsenz einen Info-Tag zum Auslandsstudium. Eingebettet in die Europawochen 2023, können sich die Studierenden der TU Darmstadt über die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten eines Auslandsaufenthaltes informieren.

With a research grant from the Taiwanese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), German postdocs and experienced scientists can carry out a research stay in Taiwan for a period of three to twelve months.

Finding interns from North America within the framework of RISE Program (DAAD)

You are pursuing a doctorate at a higher education institute or at a research institution in Germany. Or you are doing research at a University of Applied Sciences. You would like to supervise an intern from North America, Great Britain or Ireland over the summer and would like support with the experimental work of your research or PhD. Your research areas are biology, chemistry or physics, geosciences or engineering, life sciences or applied mathematics or computer science. Then RISE Germany is the right address for you!

Conference Funding

Faculty members and advanced students in the humanities, social sciences and related fields are invited to apply for co-funding to organize workshops, seminars and conferences that embrace the interdisciplinary and/or comparative study of the history, politics, economics, law, society, culture and the arts of Germany.

Meeting on Cybersecurity took place at the University of Texas at San Antonio

At the invitation of the University of Texas at San Antonio`s (UTSA) Computer Science Department (College of Sciences), experts from UTSA and TU Darmstadt met on May 20 to discuss ongoing collaborative activities in the field of cybersecurity and to explore additional shared research areas of cooperation.

Institute of Linguistics and Literary Studies signs agreement with Tongji`s School of Foreign Languages

The close relationship between the TU Darmstadt and the Chinese Tongji University has been expanded by a further cooperation agreement.

Lectures on research topics in the departments of physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and civil engineering

As part of a digital lecture series, professors from our partner university in Tainan in southern Taiwan will present their research fields and give an insight into what topics you can expect during an exchange semester at NCKU. After the lectures, questions about research, everyday life at the university in Taiwan and also possible collaborations can be answered.

International visitors

The TU Darmstadt Asia Office was invited to participate at the Falling Walls Labs in Taipei and Singapore and hand over an additional prize to both winners.
