Hydrogen is a key technology for the “Athene Young Investigator” Arne Scholtissek
Dr.-Ing. Arne Scholtissek is carrying out research into sustainable energy provision. The new “Athene Young Investigator” at TU Darmstadt aims to make a contribution to replacing fossil fuels with green hydrogen in the near future. The engineer is working on, among other things, simulation models to make the hydrogen combustion process safer and more controllable.

Several positions as research assistants

As part of the cluster project “Clean Circles – Iron as an Energy Carrier for a Sustainable Circular Economy” at Technische Universität Darmstadt, several positions as Research Assistant are available to be filled, starting as of April 1st, 2021. It is the goal of the employment to acquire a PhD level in one of the research projects in the cluster. The employment contracts will be fixed-term for 3 years. The possibility of an extension of the contract is generally given.
