Potentials of the Morocco-EU hydrogen partnership

Publication in “Middle East Policy”
The European Union is stepping up its cooperation with external partners in the field of energy. Researchers from the Clean Circles project have analysed the relationship between the EU and Morocco in the field of hydrogen and described economic factors as drivers for institutionalised cooperation. However, the authors also see challenges. The study was published in the journal Middle East Policy (Wiley).

Spacecraft on unexpected mission

What would a spacecraft have to report from its flight to Mars? For example, that our Earth is getting warmer and warmer, rivers are drying up and centuries-old forests are burning. With our children's science show we gave children an exciting and entertaining first understanding of carbon emissions and research results that can help our world.

Summary and impressions of meeting in Karlsruhe, 7–8 September 2023
This year's Clean Circles doctoral conference was held on September 7th and 8th. Doctoral students of the project met for two days in Karlsruhe at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. There was a diverse program: The participants presented their current scientific progress in short presentations, facilitating discussions about the results and the joint collaboration.

On 01 September 2023, MEP Dr Udo Bullmann (SPD), Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Rights of the European Parliament, and Anne Marquardt, SPD candidate for the Hessian State Parliament in the constituency Darmstadt-Stadt 1, visited the TU Darmstadt. The focus of the visit was on the diverse contributions of the TU Darmstadt to successful transformation processes in order to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The programme also included a discussion with scientists from Clean Circles and a visit to the test benches.
