Researchers from the Clean Circles project participated in the 773rd Seminar of the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus-Stiftung with presentations and poster contributions. The event took place in Bad Honnef from 23 to 27 October 2022 under the topic “Materials and Energy – New Directions for the Energiewende”.

Prof. Michèle Knodt, Prof. Kai Schulze, Dr Friedrich Plank and Mile Misic presented the latest Clean Circles results at the DVPW thematic group meeting “Energiepolitik in Zeiten des Krieges”. Their presentation focused on the case of Germany and a multidimensional approach to assess and compare green energy import options.

Sustainable and Resilient Energy for Europe?!

From 6 to 8 December 2022, the international Winter School Energy Science and Engineering will take place in Darmstadt. Under the title “Sustainable and Resilient Energy for Europe?”, 12 experts will present their views on scientific and technical aspects of the production and use of carbon-free and sustainable storage systems as well as socio-economic aspects. Participants will gain a unique insight into current challenges and solutions in an energy landscape that is changing daily.
