How and when will I know if I have been admitted to a 1st subject-related semester?

The admission notifications for admission-restricted degree programmes for a 1st semester are made available online in your application account directly after the ranking has been completed. At the same time, you will receive a notification to the e-mail address you have registered with.

For admission-restricted degree programmes that do not participate in the “Dialogue-Oriented Service Procedure (DoSV)”, the ranking usually takes place approximately two weeks after the application deadline Information on the procedure for degree programmes that participate in the “DoSV” can be found hier.

Therefore, check your e-mail box and/or your application account regularly. You can issue a power of attorney (opens in new tab) if you are not personally present during this period – e.g. due to a stay abroad.

Rejection letters for

  • admission-restricted degree programmes that do not participate in the “Dialogue-Oriented Service Procedure (DoSV)” will be made available online in your application account after the conclusion of any subsequent procedures that may take place; at the same time, you will receive a notification to the e-mail address you have entered. You will not receive any notification by post.
