TU workshop for all
How should the university alliance Unite! continue? This question was posed by the Unite! Team to representatives of all status groups of the TU Darmstadt on January 19, 2022. More than 80 TU members accepted the invitation of the Vice President for Transfer and Internationalization Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Schneider to an online workshop. The ideas and suggestions developed are to be incorporated into the follow-up application for further funding within the framework of the European Higher Education Initiative.

Athene-Preise für Gute Lehre 2021

INSPIRED is awarded the „Sonderpreis Interdisziplinäre Lehre“
At the end of the „Tag der Lehre“, the „Athene-Preise für Gute Lehre“ by the Carlo and Karin Giersch Foundation were awarded at TU Darmstadt on November 24. The awards are endowed with a total of 46,000 euros and honor TU members who have rendered outstanding teaching services. The award ceremony took place as a hybrid event in the Köhler Hall and was livestreamed from there.

Students’ hackathon “From post COVID University to inclusive European university”

The online hackathon will take place from November 22 to 26, 2021.
Grenoble INP is organising an online hackathon which will take place from November 22 to 26, 2021 (5 to 7pm CET) via online Zoom meetings. It aims at getting together different groups of students of different partners’ universities to work on a collaborative project solution for the University of the Future. You have until November 15th to register and the winner will get to travel to the KTH Royal Institute of Technology Dialogue in March to present the results of the Hackathon.

Economy and quality management gave valuable input for the further development of Unite!
External stakeholders see the European University alliance Unite! on a good way to achieve a new quality of academic exchange and university networking in Europe. Representatives from regional economy, national quality assurance agencies and alumni of Unite! partner universities were invited to a digital “Unite! Quality Forum” to comment on the quality objectives and quality management and to give impulses for their further development.
