TU workshop for all

How should the university alliance Unite! continue? This question was posed by the Unite! Team to representatives of all status groups of the TU Darmstadt on January 19, 2022. More than 80 TU members accepted the invitation of the Vice President for Transfer and Internationalization Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Schneider to an online workshop. The ideas and suggestions developed are to be incorporated into the follow-up application for further funding within the framework of the European Higher Education Initiative.

New opportunities for the future of Unite!

The new Erasmus+ call in the context of the European Universities Initiative, the consolidation of the alliance’s structure with the future addition of two new members and the advancement of many of the projects, will be the focus of the alliance's work this year 2022.

The webseminar will focus on universities different models of internationalization and the positive impact in the cities and the communities in which these institutions are located. Andreas Winkler, Secretary General of Unite! is one the guest speakers at this event.

In 2022, Grenoble INP-UGA is offering a summer program in Smart Energies. The program capitalizes on Grenoble's expertise on energy and sustainable development and is tailored at students from IT or Energy.

Unite! is pleased to welcome two new excellent partners to the alliance. They are Graz University of Technology (Austria) and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland). Both partners share Unite!'s dynamic spirit and approach. With this expansion to 9 members, Unite! increases its impact on the European Higher Education Area.

Starting on November 29, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) welcomed members of the university alliance Unite! to the 4th Unite! Dialogue, as well as representatives of various stakeholders, for the first Branding Event in Barcelona to pave the way for Unite! in the future.

The 4th Unite! Dialogue in Barcelona 2021 closed yesterday with Unite!'s 1st Branding Event, aimed at promoting the alliance's visibility and enhancing its engagement with the various stakeholders.

4th Unite! Dialogue Barcelona

From November 29, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) welcomed the international delegations of the partner universities of its university alliance Unite! to the 4th Unite! Dialogue and the first branding event in Barcelona.

The Unite! team invites all interested TU members to an internal university workshop on 19 January 2022. The content and aim of the workshop is to develop ideas and suggestions as a basis for the Unite! follow-up application.

INSPIRED is awarded the „Sonderpreis Interdisziplinäre Lehre“

At the end of the „Tag der Lehre“, the „Athene-Preise für Gute Lehre“ by the Carlo and Karin Giersch Foundation were awarded at TU Darmstadt on November 24. The awards are endowed with a total of 46,000 euros and honor TU members who have rendered outstanding teaching services. The award ceremony took place as a hybrid event in the Köhler Hall and was livestreamed from there.
