The Chair of History of Technology at TU Darmstadt together with the Centro de Filosofia das Ciências at Universidade de Lisboa host the Unite! Summer School “The AI's have it?”. Focus of the summer school will be on reflections on the history, present and future of AI-human relations. Applying for the Unite! Summer School is possible from now until May 15, 2021.

3rd Dialogue of the European University Alliance Unite!
Unite! convened online for its big event, the Unite! Dialogue from 8th to 10th March 2021. The biggest Unite! event yet – gathering more than 350 guests from all over Europe for the public session – was hosted virtually by Grenoble INP-UGA. Furthermore, the third Dialogue had three premieres to offer: a public session, the inauguration of the Student Forum SURE! and an open call for the thematic parallel sessions – resulting in 18 lively workshops to bring Unite! further ahead.

EUniQ evaluation report has been published

UNITE! is developing standards for quality assurance at European universities
UNITE! was one of four European university alliances to participate in the EUniQ pilot evaluation. Following a two-day virtual inspection, the EUniQ Commission has now published its evaluation report: UNITE! received positive and helpful feedback and has already started to implement the recommendations made by the commission.

The idea of the UNITE! International Project Week has accompanied the alliance from the early stages of bringing our European University to life. Conceived as a growing family of short-term exchange programs offered to the international community of UNITE! students, the initiative started in 2020 with INSPIRED, the International Project Week for Interdisciplinary Research-Oriented Digital Learning at TU Darmstadt. At the same time, the educational concept of the challenge-based research project set in an international environment was transferred to our Partners at the University of Lisbon and is now taking shape as a brand new program: ULisses, University of Lisbon Interdisciplinary Studies on Sustainable Environment and Sees.

UNITE!Energy is a European digital event series to bring the scientists of the UNITE! network closer together in the field of energy research. The tour through Europe's energy research landscape started on November 4, 2020 at TU Darmstadt and will now continue on January 28, 2021 at Aalto University.
