- application-oriented deepening of the mathematical and mechanical engineering skills and knowledge acquired in the Bachelor’s degree programme,
- interdisciplinary combination of civil engineering and geodesy, mechanical engineering, mathematics and physics,
- interface of abstract mathematical and application-oriented engineering problems,
- choice of extensive mandatory subject area along the different fields,
- a mentor system provides guidance and support.

1. a degree B.Sc. Ingenieurwissenschaften und Mechanik of TU Darmstadt (reference programme), or B.Sc. Mathematik, B.Sc. Bauingenieurwesen und Geodäsie, B.Sc. Maschinenbau – Sustainable Engineering, B.Sc. Physik, B.Sc. Computational Engineering oder B.Sc. Umweltingenieurwissenschaften of TU Darmstadt (see Bachelor's programmes) or an equivalent degree. 2.
