Clean Circles is funded by the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and the Arts

The state government supports top-class research in Hesse for the period of four years. As of April 2021, six projects of the universities in Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Gießen and Marburg and other universities and non-university research institutions will be supported by the state-funded research programme "Clusterprojekte".
